7.0Bánh Ướt Hẻm 400 Lê Văn SỹWe love shopping along this stretch of road called Lê Văn Sỹ that cuts through District 3 and Phu Nhuan District. For those who are not familar, this is a fashion shopping belt for the trendy. You may not get your luxury brands here, but you get your chic and stylish apparels here at really good prices. But back to the food, Lê Văn Sỹ also offers a variety of cuisines and local food fare. And which brings us to today's recommendation- Bánh ướt. Bánh ướt in Vietnamese literally means "wet cakes" which is actually thin pancake wrap strips or 'kway teow' like thin sheets. This is a central vietnamese dish that originated from Hue and served with pork sausages and other fried stuff. At this particular stall, the Bánh ướt is exceptionally tasty. It also has this fried roll that looks stuffed with green beans. We loved that! The Bánh ướt is best eaten with fish sauce and chilli. And is mainly a snack dish that isn't too filling. Hence the stall only opens in the evenings till late night for late snackers. Food type and taste: Central Vietnamese cuisine- 3.5/5 stars Price: Economic Ambience: Local style in alley and along the street Others: Only available in the evenings ...Xem thêm
